Would ZonG be the first and only 4G operator in Pakistan?
After the completion of 3G, 4G auction process in Pakistan, a question is asked that who would be the first 4G operator in Pakistan.
As far as bidding of 4G is concerned, ZonG is successful to hold 4G license and was considered to be the only operator of 4G in Pakistan.
But many people in Pakistan are looking forward to know that would ZonG be the first and only 4G operator in Pakistan?
The answer is in negation. Recently Warid has displayed its advertisement stating, “We are worth the wait, indeed.”The best is yet to come 4G LTE.
So the claims are likely to prove wrong because Warid has presented itself as upcoming 4G operator in Pakistan.
There are no qualms about it that ZonG was the only bidder .of 3G and 4G licenses together. Whereas rest of the mobile companies bid for 3G auction.
The news spread like fire when Warid customers start to receive messages regarding provision of 4G services to customers.The message clarified that ‘.the best is to come’ which is another sign of Warid to prove itself as the successful provider of 4G services.
It can also be noted that Warid’s CEO Muneer Farooqi also made the same kind of interaction before 3G come in full swing.
Some sources of news stated, “We are in a fix now as to who will launch the 4G services first in Pakistan.”
The news further stated, “ZonG has already announced that it will take them a year to start their 4G services. The signs suggest that after paying millions of dollars ZonG may not be
the only 4G operator in Pakistan.”Despite various claims made by people and sources, PTA is yet
to decide who would be the first 4G operator in Pakistan.Keeping high regards for ZonG in mind, Pakistan telecom Authority might consider ZonG as compared to Warid.It could also be the case that Warid is just playing emotional tricks so that it can attract as many customers as possible.
Thus, it cannot be concluded whether ZonG or Warid is going to get the title of first and only 4G operator in Pakistan. People are waiting for PTA to give green signal in this regard.
